What it is

What is ENT SEO?

ENT SEO is the work of making an otolaryngology practice findable when someone searches for an ear, nose or throat problem, from ENT doctor near me to a specific search like balloon sinuplasty or hearing aids near me. It covers your Google Business Profile, a page for each condition and procedure you treat, your audiology services, and the structure that gets your practice named in the AI answers patients read about their symptoms.

Everyday medical ENT

Local, referral driven
  • The search is a symptom or ENT near me, and they want an appointment this week
  • Ear infections, sinus infections, sore throats and hearing checks all arrive here
  • Proximity, the map pack and availability decide it, not a long comparison
  • Wins on Google Business Profile, per-location pages and booking without a phone call
02

Procedures and hearing

Researched, decision led
  • The search is a procedure or device name: balloon sinuplasty, septoplasty, hearing aids
  • They read for weeks and often arrive knowing exactly what they want done
  • You compete with hospital ENT departments and audiology chains, beatable on depth
  • Wins on a real page per procedure and per device, written to be read slowly

Most ENT sites publish one Services page that lists everything from tonsils to tinnitus and stops there. That page ranks for none of it. It is too thin for someone weighing balloon sinuplasty against surgery, it says nothing to the parent whose child has a fourth ear infection, and it ignores the audiology line entirely, which is usually the largest unclaimed search opportunity an ENT practice has.

An ENT clinic at the centre of a city block, connected outward to the Google map pack above it, patient reviews on one side and booked appointments on the other, and below to its own website, which in turn feeds ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity
Everyday and researched patients run on the same three pieces: the profile, the site and the answers AI engines give about you.

What we do

Everything we build for your ENT practice

01

Google Business Profile and the map pack

  • Primary category set to Otolaryngologist, with secondary categories matching what you actually treat
  • A profile per physician and per audiologist where the practice structure supports it
  • NAP consistency fixed across health directories, insurance listings and aggregators
  • Review strategy timed to the weeks after a procedure or a hearing fitting goes well
02

Condition pages

  • One page per condition you treat: chronic sinusitis, ear infections, tinnitus, vertigo, sleep apnea
  • Allergy, nasal obstruction and thyroid or neck mass pages, each written for its own searcher
  • Written for someone describing a symptom, not for someone who already has a diagnosis
  • Pediatric ENT written for the parent searching, which is a different reader from the adult patient
03

Procedure pages

  • A page per procedure: balloon sinuplasty, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, ear tubes, turbinate reduction
  • Sleep and snoring procedures written for someone weighing them against a CPAP machine
  • What the procedure involves, recovery time and whether insurance covers it, answered plainly
  • Written for a patient who has already read three other versions and can tell which one is thin
04

Audiology and hearing aids

  • Hearing test and hearing aid pages, which carry some of the highest search volume in the niche
  • Each hearing aid brand and style you fit given a real page, not one lumped hearing aids page
  • Tinnitus management and custom earplugs surfaced, since patients search these separately
  • Built to bring hearing patients back for batteries, cleanings and upgrades, not just the first sale
05

Credibility and technical foundation

  • Board certification, fellowship and subspecialty focus surfaced on the page, not buried in a bio
  • Physician and MedicalClinic schema, with each physician and audiologist as its own entity
  • Author and medical reviewer attribution on every clinical page
  • Core Web Vitals, mobile rendering, crawlability and forms that do not leak patient data
06

Getting named in AI answers, and reporting

  • Your condition and procedure pages structured so ChatGPT and AI Overviews can name your practice when someone asks who to see
  • One consistent practice identity across the web, so AI engines know exactly which ENT practice you are
  • Calls, forms and booked appointments traced back to the search and the condition behind them
  • A monthly call where you see what moved, what is next, and can ask why

Meet the founder

SEO and AI search, led by the founder himself

I’m Ashikur Rahman. I’ve spent the better part of a decade in SEO, most recently as Partner and SEO Manager at Doctor Rank, a medical and legal SEO agency I helped found. Every plan, every strategy and every client win there ran through me and my team. Proximity Ranker is the next step, my own agency, built the way I’ve always believed this work should be done.

I keep it small on purpose. We stay selective about who we sign and cap how many clients we take on, so nobody ends up with a template pulled from a drawer. We build your strategy around your specialty, your city and your goals. My own background is in law, an LL.B and an LL.M, and that turns out to be a real edge in YMYL niches like medicine and law, where Google and AI reward genuine expertise and trust.

Hire Proximity Ranker and you work with me, not an account manager. I look over every strategy, every author block and every AI search recommendation before it ships. Search has moved past ten blue links. Your next clients are already asking Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity who to trust, and earning a place inside those answers is the work I care about most.

How it runs

The first 90 days, from audit to a fuller schedule

No lock-in contract. If the schedule is not filling you can leave, and that is the only promise about results worth making before we have looked at your site.

  1. Day 0

See why the hospital ENT outranks you

Where you rank now, what traffic you are getting, which technical issues are holding the site back, and how you compare against the hospital ENT department and the audiology chains taking your patients. It comes back as a prioritised list, worst problems first. No charge and no obligation.

  2. Month 1

The heavy month. Design work where the site needs it, a page written for every condition, procedure and hearing service you offer that does not have one yet, schema for the practice and each provider, and your Google Business Profile rebuilt from the categories up.

  4. Month 3

See which searches filled your clinic

This is usually when the earlier months turn into numbers you can see: map pack positions, calls and direction requests on each profile, impressions on the site, and your name appearing inside AI answers. We report on all four.

How do we outrank the hospital ENT department?

Usually not on the broadest terms, and you should not spend your budget trying. A hospital domain carries authority you cannot buy. What it cannot do is publish a genuinely good page on one procedure and keep it current, because that content has to clear a committee. A real page on balloon sinuplasty in your city can outrank all of them for that search, and enough of those pages will out-earn one fight you were never going to win.

Is the audiology side actually worth building pages for?

It is usually the largest unclaimed opportunity on the whole site. Hearing test and hearing aids near me carry enormous local search volume, and most ENT sites bury audiology on a single thin page. Those searches also come from people ready to act, and a hearing patient who buys once comes back for cleanings, batteries and upgrades, so the page keeps earning long after the first fitting.

So much of our work comes from referrals. Does SEO change anything?

It matters more than it used to, because the referral is a name and the patient still searches it. What they find decides whether they call you or ask their primary care doctor for someone else. Practices with weak profiles quietly lose referred patients at that step and never learn why, since the referral was made and the appointment simply never happened.

We treat everyone from newborns to seniors. How do we cover that range?

Not with one page trying to speak to all of them. A parent searching about a child's ear tubes and a retiree researching hearing aids are different readers with different worries, and a page written for both reaches neither. Each condition, procedure and audiology service gets its own page written for the person actually searching it, which is what lets a single practice rank across the whole range.

Do patient reviews matter as much here as in other specialties?

They matter, and the timing is what practices get wrong. Someone whose child finally stopped getting ear infections, or who could hear a grandchild again after a fitting, is glad to say so if you ask in the weeks after, not at check-out before anyone knows it worked. Those specific, outcome-based reviews are the ones that move both ranking and the decision to call.

How long does ENT SEO take to work?

Local and Google Business Profile improvements often move within the first month or two, and hearing and symptom searches respond early because intent is high. Competitive procedure terms take longer, usually four to six months before the trend is clear. Any agency promising page one in thirty days is either targeting terms nobody searches or is not being straight with you.

Why is our practice not showing up in the Google map pack?

It is rarely an effort problem. Plenty of practices complete the profile, gather reviews and still miss the top three, because the map pack is ranked on things owners seldom touch: the correct primary category, a profile that matches the site, one consistent name and address across the health directories, and reviews that keep coming in. We identify which of those is costing you and fix them in order, because the top three listings take roughly three in four local clicks.

How do you get our practice named by ChatGPT and AI Overviews?

By making your practice the simplest one for an engine to cite. That means one unambiguous identity everywhere, a genuine page for each condition and procedure with the city in the heading, named physicians with credentials, and answers a model can lift without guessing. ChatGPT draws on only a handful of sources per answer and prefers clear, credentialed pages, and cited practices earn far more clicks than those left out. We build for that and test your top patient questions in the engines monthly.

Do you lock us into a long contract?

No. Nothing is locked in and you can walk at any point. We would rather earn next month than trap you in a year, and a practice that stays because the clinic is busy is worth more than one held by a contract.

Do you write the clinical content yourselves?

We draft it and you review it. Nothing clinical goes live on an ENT practice's site without a physician signing off. It is your license and your patients, so the final read is always yours.

What does the free audit include?
